How we write these
Every recipe page on CookTheReelstarts from one real video. We read the caption, listen to what the creator actually says, and use AI transcription to turn it into a structured recipe — then it's checked before publishing. Nothing on the page is invented:
- Quantities come from the video. When a creator says "a glug of olive oil," we make a sensible interpretation and flag it in a highlighted "heads up" box on the page — you always know what was said vs. what we inferred.
- We never re-host video. The player on each page is the platform's own official embed; the views, likes and follows all go to the creator.
- No fake anything. No stock photos posing as the dish, no invented reviews or ratings, no "my grandmother's secret" stories. If a number is on the page, it's real.
- Creators stay in control. Any creator can claim their page (add links, manage recipes) or have it removed — fast, no questions.
